The Armadyl battlestaff has a special attack called Tempest of Armadyl. The Armadyl battlestaff's special attack, Tempest of Armadyl ![]() Unlike most other battlestaves, the Armadyl battlestaff cannot be enchanted into a mystic version by Thormac nor can a Shade skull be added to make a skeletal or necromancer's version. With the release of Legacy Mode this effect was removed and instead the staff was given a special attack, "Tempest of Armadyl", requiring at least 50% adrenaline. ![]() Since it is non-degrading and provides unlimited air runes, it allows powerful and free casts that pose a significant threat, even to rangers.īetween the release of the Evolution of Combat and Legacy Mode, wielding the staff used to buffs auto-attacks with the Storm of Armadyl spell by 10%, but does not increase damage with abilities. This potentially makes the Armadyl battlestaff a superior choice for common combat activities such as Slayer training. This allows players to cast air spells, such as Air Surge and Divine Storm, for free, as well as reducing the cost of all other standard elemental spells and Smoke spells. In addition to providing the high bonuses, the Armadyl battlestaff provides unlimited air runes when wielded. It provides protection against the Armadyl followers in God Wars Dungeon. It is currently the second strongest non-degradable staff in the game outside of Dungeoneering. It is created by attaching an orb of Armadyl to a regular battlestaff, which requires 77 Crafting and grants 150 Crafting experience. ![]() It's usually the last thing you buy to increase your DPS in a combat style. The Armadyl battlestaff is a two-handed Magic staff that requires 77 Magic to wield. When you have nothing else to literally buy as listed below. But most of the time the trouble isn't the DPS its the survivability so I would suggest getting a tier 80-87 weapon and tank armour like seasingers. They tend to think this because their weapon is too weak or not high enough level or they're not skilled. People tend to have the idea to go straight for a tier 90 weapon and get tier 80-90 armour after but then struggle with mid to high level bosses which they wanna kill to make money to buy the weapon. Both are great options just depends if you want 2H or DW or even if you want both until you can afford T90 Depending on prices I would use Cywir Wand and Orb until I can afford to sell it and buy Obliteration staff. Virtus Wand and Book is gonna be your best choice until you can afford ether Cywir Wand and Orb or Obliteration Staff. At level 80 there's a lot of options but not a lot of cheap/good options even more so for 2-handed staffs. Then I would transition into a Staff of Light. If I don’t id buy a Wand of Treachery and Ahrim Book as a budget. I would buy Ahrim staff if I have enough gold to buy it. For more information on this watch this video: My Personal advice is to use 2H Staffs over wands due to using the ability Sonic Wave over using Concentrated Blast and cancelling it.
